Completely changed the cut & fabric for the worse
"I've been ordering the Second Skin high-rise underwear for years, and these are terrible. I ordered 7 pairs and each pair is different. The rise is nothing like my others; they're more like a standard brief. They run smaller, and the fabric is cheap and poor quality. These are the exact pairs I've ordered before, I compared them side by side, and they are junk now. I'm so disappointed. Now I have to find something similar somewhere else, and I'll probably throw these away."
The material is lovely. That
"The material is lovely. That being said the waist band is not substantial enough and it keeps rolling down. I would really like it if all underwear manufacturers would go back to the old sizing. Not everyone fits well into the current S,M,L,XL sizing method. Also I would think that a “brief” should come up higher than yours do."
Quality/fit uneven
"I have been purchasing the Women's Second Skin High Rise Brief for years now. In this most recent purchase, I bought 3 black, 2 maple sugar, and 2 nirvana. The fabric type and cut is different with each color. With the black ones, the logo is different on two of the pairs and they are cut slightly different. They aren’t as stretchy and also tend to roll down more than the other colors. The nirvana/purple color are by far the most comfortable with the material being the most similar to what I have experienced with previous purchases. I came back to the site to purchase more of the nirvana color because I’m going to have to throw out some of the others that are ill fitting from my most recent purchase. I’m not sure of what made them change fabric and cut but it is unfortunate."
Changed for the worse
"Every other year or so for the past decade, I’ve ordered 15 pairs of these underwear. I ordered these specific underwear because I have wide hips and these were the only ones I could find that didn’t give me a wedgie. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. I just received my most recent order and it’s clear that they changed the cut of the underwear to have less coverage in the back, so now I’m spending my whole day picking wedgies. I’m very, very disappointed. I’ll be searching for a new brand of underwear."
No elastic at the legs
