Prefer the older style/elastic in the leg holes
"I was SO excited to see these available again! They were my favorite a couple years ago, so I immediately bought a multipack of 5. These briefs used to have some elastic in the seam of the leg holes that fit me perfectly and I could wear all day without any unwanted wedgies (unlike the briefs in the second skin and cool cotton lines, where the seam was just the fabric sewn over). Unfortunately, this new luxe rib version has gone the way of the other lines - it doesn't have any elastic anymore so they don't stay in place on my cheeks/I don't enjoy wearing them. Might just be my shape, but I'm bummed because the fabric is the best."

"I’ve been a loyal Tommy John buyer for years but the sizing in the past few years has been very inconsistent. The large used to always fit perfectly. Then I’d get one that was a bit tight, but fine, I just won’t wear it under tight fitting clothing. Then more and more some would be too tight and some would be fine. I recently lost some weight and on my last order fully half (4 pairs) were too tight. I’m no longer willing to pay a premium for inconsistency."
